Snakehead (Alex Rider, Book Seven)
by Anthony Horowitz© 2007, 385 pages Level 5 (all about levels)Amazon Reviews
Snakehead is the seventh book in the Alex Rider series. It is an exceptional novel with good characters, plot, use of words, and more. The book may take a while to read, but it is well worth it.
Snakehead's story revolves around Alex Rider, a teenage spy. The Australian Secret Service hires him to infiltrate a smuggling group called a snakehead, along with his godfather, Ash. Alex learns a lot about his past, and the surprise ending is terrific. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a spy story/mystery, though you should read the other books in the series first.

Thanks for posting this - my two kids have read all six of the previous Alex Rider books and enjoyed them (and we also liked the Stormbreaker movie), so I will definitely order this for them. I didn't know it was out. The longer the book, the better! As in, the longer before I have to have the next book lined up for them.

Also, I wanted to leave a comment today on March 3rd's post on EPIC - but comments are closed. Do you close them after a certain amount of time has passed (like a month)? Anyway, thanks for that post - my 13-year-old just finished Epic and enjoyed it, thanks to your recommendation!

Thanks, Katherine! We're so glad you're finding book ideas here for your family. Sometimes it feels like a big job keeping the book queue filled up ;)
The comments close after about a month just to keep things tidy.
Thanks again!
